Our Goals

Public Speaking for Seniors aims to provide seniors with the opportunity to expand their social networks, facilitate personal growth, and learn crucial life skills.

What is Public Speaking for Seniors About?

Our free sessions encourage senior participants to learn new knowledge such as digital literacy, and practice new skills such as impromptu speaking while gaining feedback.

Objectives

Enriching the lives of seniors in the Markham area and beyond by providing them with access to educational workshops and access to Public Speaking skill development. 

Accessibility

This program is offered at both the community center and senior centers across Markham and beyond, aiming to enhance the well-being and quality of life for elderly community members. 

Outcomes

Through a comprehensive curriculum our project strives to empower and engage seniors to lead fulfilling lives.
