Being part of the Leaders of Tomorrow program was an incredibly fun and fulfilling experience! I’ve always enjoyed working with kids, but this workshop stood out as something truly meaningful. The students were consistently energetic, curious, and eager to engage with us, which made each session feel vibrant and unique. What made this program so impactful for me was watching the personal growth that took place in such a short period.
Several students who were initially shy or hesitant to participate gradually began to open up. With each activity, their confidence visibly grew—many of them went from being quiet observers to confidently presenting their creative ideas in front of the class. Their transformation wasn’t just noticeable to us, but also to their teachers, who mentioned how impressed they were by the shift. Knowing that we were part of that change was incredibly rewarding and reminded me of the importance of creating encouraging, supportive environments for young people.
This program also helped me grow personally, especially in areas like leadership and public speaking. Leading a group of energetic students and keeping their attention while guiding them through creative activities challenged me to be more adaptable, patient, and expressive. It sharpened my ability to lead with both confidence and empathy.
One key tip I would give to future LoT leaders is to always bring your energy--even on days when you’re feeling tired. Your enthusiasm sets the tone for the workshop, and students respond positively to leaders who are excited to be there. LoT was not only an opportunity to lead, but to learn and grow alongside the students. I’m incredibly grateful to have been a part of it.
